Happy St. Patricks Day!

A few weeks late... We enjoyed St Patty's day with church in the morning, lunch at Chili's, a trip to the mall... CAROUSEL ride! And a final stop at Target - for a new Rupunzel Barbie! Also while at "daddy's hyvee" Kiley picked out a St. Pattys bead necklace..... She still loves to wear it! Lol!

Ice Skating!

Every time we are at the mall, we of course HAVE to ride the carousel (we have ventured out from the zebra and are now riding the cheetah!) anyway we always walk by the ice skating rink and Kiley loves to watch the skaters. So we have wanted to take her ice skating for a while now! Well , we finally did it on Sunday...it went ...well , not as well as we thought it would! She started out great and was walking around with her skates on (which I think is hard to do!) but once we hit the ice- she was a little scared. So 20 minutes and $16.00 later we had our first ice skating experience.
Maybe we will wait awhile before we try this again!

Friday fun

Friday night I took Kiley and we hit up the "Family Free Friday" at the mall! Wow. It was. Chaos. But fun none the less. We went for the free carousel rides and free admission to the children's museum. The museum was packed so we didn't stay long (maybe 30 minutes) but it was nice to check it out and we will be making another trip there on a not so busy day :)
