4th of July

The 4th of July was always one of my favorite holidays, I hope Kiley loves its I always did and still do!
We had a pretty simple day but fun!

Started out with a very long and hot, but FUN parade.  Before we left Kiley did some modeling pictures outside,
{modeling her fun "sparklers" we made out of pipe cleaners!}
{had to show off the back of her cute little romper!}

{waiting for the parade to start}
{little model girl! Lol! It was hot and we were still waiting }
{cooling off with a freeze pop from the parade}
Next we went home and played with daddy outside in the slip and slide!
Then we  headed over to a friends for a grill out and watch fireworks.
How she watched fireworks (swinging and covering her ears) in her defense they were setting off their own so they were right in front of her and were very loud!
An she finally decided to be brave enough for sparklers!!!

The weekend

Friday night was free family fun night at the mall! It's always crazy busy, but Kiley and I ventured for about 45 minutes.  Can't beat a free carousel ride for the girl who loves them!  Plus a free kids meal at Chick-fil-a, her favorite(probably thanks to uncle John).
Yum! She always gets the same thing everytime we go!

"Nastics" (gymnastics) was there! They had a cute little obstacle set up for the kids!

She loved it!

And a carousel ride before we headed home!
Got the carpets cleaned so everything came out of kileys room , while i moved stuff out she kept saying to me "oh my goshhh" "oh my goshhh"

Obsessed with wearing her Minnie swim ring from "go"

We took her to see monsters university Saturday afternoon.  It was so cute and funny!  The popcorn we got was almost as big as her!

Daddy got K a slip and slide so we had to try it out!

Then we took a family walk, dogs and all! Stopped by a park then came home.
Then Kiley and I headed back to the same park and met to play with Ella and her mommy!

Father's Day

Craft time! Made this for daddy!

We spend Sunday in the Quad Cities at the Niabi Zoo. We met Grandma and Grandpa T there for the afternoon, it was a lot of fun!
First stop, elephants!

Feeding the "nemo's"

Attempting to feed the birds, about one minute later she had a melt down! So we passed our cup off to another little girl and got her out of there!

I'd say the giraffes were her favorite!
She did love the zebras too!
Of course we had to ride the carousel!
Listening to the lion, he was quite loud! She loves to mimic what he was doing!  Wasn't a "roar" more like a huge "ughhhhhh!"
Train ride with daddy!
Before we left, Grandma and grandpa took her back in the gift shop to get her the little pink giraffe she spotted earlier...and this is what she walked out with!
SPOILED! Grandpa told her "go big or go home" lol!
She sure does love the pink giraffe!!
