It's been a while!

I have been slacking in the blog posts! Maybe because we got rid of the internet at home and my camera was broken and I finally have it back from being repaired! Kiley is growing and learning like crazy, she is at such a fun age and picks up new things every single day!

Last night we were cleaning out some of Kiley's drawers and found her pacifiers!

Haha at first she didn't know what to do with them, it's been a long time since she has used them! So I put one in and showed her how she used to use them...so she had to show me that she could do it herself! Haha-it is so weird to see her with a pacifier in her mouth-definitely glad we said goodbye to those when she turned 1!

Kiley is 2!

Last weekend we headed back to Des Moines to celebrate Kiley's birthday with some family and friends. Aunt Jenny agreed to host the party at her beautiful new home and it was perfect! Enjoy some pictures :)

almost 2...

Wow...I.can.not.believe.it. Kiley will be 2 in 2 weeks! Where has the time gone?
It is so hard to think that this was her a year ago...oh my how she has changed SO much in the last year.

She has learned so much over the past year, and brings more and more joy to our lives every single day. I can not imagine life without this little love <3

Birthday party will of course be her favorite..Minnie Mouse!

Can't wait to celebrate in a few weeks with a little party in WDM...and hopefully we get something planned for our IL friends too!!

blackberries!

So I am pretty behind on blogging, as this happened a few weeks ago, but I bought some blackberries from Hy-Vee, well later that day Kiley was eating so I gave her a handful {she loves them!} She kept asking for more, more more! She ate the whole container of them {except the 5 that I had!} in that one sitting! She was a blackberry mess! I snapped a few photos of her, which were perfect because Hy-Vee is now running a messiest baby contest. So of course I submitted one of her!

Zoo!

Back in May while K and I were in Des Moines for a weekend, we went to the zoo! Grandma and Aunt Katy joined us as well! It was so much different this year taking Kiley, she was much more aware of everything, and it was fun to watch her make her animals sounds for the animals she know! Monkeys are her favorite I think!

graduations

Over Mother's Day weekend both of Kiley's god parents graduated! Aunt Ali graduated from Kansas State University, and Uncle John received his masters at Wichita State University. Kiley and I were able to make the trip down to Kansas to see Ali graduate! It was a fun weekend getting to see the family!
